EXCITING NEWS! The Foundation for WHPS has committed $90,000 in grant funding for the 2022-2023 school year through two cycles of grant applications. The first of two grant cycles is complete and 25 grants totaling $43,388 have been awarded for implementation as early as September 2022. In addition, 3 grants for $500 each were awarded to the Teacher of the Year Finalists: Alanna Goldberg (Charter Oak), Michele Haggerty (Smith STEM) and Troy Jones (Bristow). Congratulations to all! The second cycle, which will conclude November 1, will award an additional $45,000 to support educational projects, programs, and initiatives that enhance and enliven the classroom experience for all West Hartford Public School students.
