In writing, architecture and art we often hear the phrase “less is more,” that greater simplicity creates a greater clarity of purpose. Well, at the Foundation our purpose is definitively clear—we believe that “more is more” when it comes to our teachers. More funds means more awarded grants, which means more teachers can reach more students with more creative learning experiences outside of their curricula.
Recently we announced that the Foundation has committed to awarding $80,000 in grants for the 2025-2026 academic year, an increase of $10,000 more than the previous campaign. And this year we’re planning more new and fun ways for individuals and businesses to support our mission. Our first event is Movie Night on November 7th at Charter Oak International Academy for a screening of the 2023 Universal Studios hit “Migration”. Click here for event details. This is a FREE event but seating is limited, so please RSVP ASAP. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Check them out here.
Please stay connected with us through social media and our monthly newsletter to “see” our amazing grants in action. We are still accepting applications to fund a second cycle of grants for the 2024-2025 school year. Please consider helping us with a tax-deductible donation today so we can continue our mission of enriching our schools’ classrooms and creating excellence beyond the school budget limits. |
