Third and fourth grade students at Charter Oak International Academy used Sphero BOLTs, ball shaped fun robots, to learn coding through a hands-on approach. The students met weekly to work in coding groups and learned all about BOLT's blockly programming and other special features. As a result, they became masters at working with the robots to perform complicated coding tasks. The students shared that coding was their favorite subject and couldn't wait to use the robots each class. Thanks to their exposure to Spheros, they will be able to do much more with coding next year! |
